Pickleball in Ketchikan, Alaska
Ketchikan has frequent indoor drop in pickleball at the Gateway Recreation Center. The schedule includes weekday mornings, selected evening sessions, and Sunday play. This indoor program is the practical center of local play in a city where wet weather often makes a dependable gym especially useful.

The recreation center hosts indoor drop in pickleball for youth, adults, and seniors. The published schedule includes 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM sessions on weekdays, 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM evening sessions on selected days, and Sunday play from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM. Getting Started
New players should start at Gateway Recreation Center drop in pickleball. The program accepts a broad range of ages and skill levels, and its recurring schedule gives beginners a direct path into local play. No separate recurring beginner clinic is currently posted. Open Play and Organized Pickleball
Gateway Recreation Center provides recurring organized play Monday through Friday and Sunday. Morning sessions are the most common. Selected weekday evening sessions help players who cannot attend during the day. Facility programming can affect gym availability, so use the current recreation calendar when choosing a date.
Visiting Ketchikan and Looking for a Game?
Visitors should use a scheduled Gateway Recreation Center drop in session. A daily fee is available, so a long term membership is not required. If you are traveling alone, the recurring drop in format gives you a practical route into games without bringing partners. Choose a published session and arrive with enough time to pay at the facility.
